Founded in 1958, Snav is a private shipping company that deals with fast sea connections between the city of Naples and the islands of Ischia, Capri and Procida. Since 2011 it has been owned by Gianluigi Aponte, owner of the MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company. In addition to the annual connections with the islands of the Gulf of Naples, Snav also ensures seasonal connections with Croatia, the Pontine islands and the Aeolian islands.

The age of the children must always be documented at the time of boarding. Free pass for children under the age of 2 without the right to a seat; if you want the seat you have to pay the expected rate. Children from 2 to 12 years old pay the rate for children . From 12 years old full rate.
For all pets the payment of the passage ticket is required. Obligation of veterinary certification certifying the good state of health and the implementation of antiparasitic prophylaxis. Obligation to wear a muzzle and a leash for dogs that must be registered in the canine registry.
The pet must be small or medium in size . Boarding for particularly large animals can be accepted or denied depending on the existence of conditions that do not cause annoyance or damage to other passengers.
The care of pets is at the expense, care and responsibility of the passenger.
Each passenger can take on board a single piece of baggage with a maximum size of 50 x 35 x 20 cm and weighing no more than 9 kg. Additional baggage and baggage larger than the size indicated above must be specified at the time of booking and purchased at the relative rate. Checking the size and weight of the baggage is the responsibility of the user.
On Snav hydrofoils it is possible to take bikes, canoes and surfboards at the scheduled rate.

Time before departure and penalty:

- more than 48 hours: 20%;
- more than 4 hours; 50%;
- less than 4 hours: no refund.

MODIFICATION costs
Time before departure and cost:
- more than 30 days: none;
- more than 48 hours (Croatia, Aeolian and Pontine only): €20;
- more than 1 hour (Gulf of Naples only): €2.50.
To these modification costs must be added any fare differences and the modification fee equal to € 2 per section.
