Alicost is a shipping company, controlled by Alilauro SpA, which guarantees fast maritime connections between the Gulf of Salerno (Salerno, Maiori, Minori, Amalfi, Positano), the Cilento Coast (Agropoli, San Marco, Acciaroli, Casal Velino, Pisciotta , Palinuro, Camerota, Sapri), and between Naples, Ischia and Capri.
The Alicost fleet is made up of five motorboat models, an HSC boat and a hydrofoil:
Special conditions of transport and purchase of travel tickets apply to infants and children. For their specification, please refer to the company's general conditions of carriage.
Each passenger can bring with him a single pet of small or medium size intended as dogs, cats, cage birds and the like. The presence of the animal must be communicated when purchasing the ticket on which a surcharge will be applied. An administrative penalty will be applied to owners of animals without a special ticket.
Eventually, health certifications may be requested proving the animal's state of good health and vaccination. These certifications must have been issued no more than three months from the date of departure.
Dogs must have a muzzle and a leash.
Each passenger can bring one piece of luggage free of charge. The luggage must not be larger than 50 × 35 × 20 cm and must not weigh more than 9 kg. For extra luggage or luggage that is larger or heavier than these limits, an additional fee will apply. Passengers must check the luggage size and weight limits and buy the required luggage ticket. If the luggage ticket is requested at the pier or just before boarding, an additional fee will apply.
It's possible to bring a bicycle with you, indicating its presence at the time of booking, on which a predetermined rate will be applied.
On board the Alicost units there are snack bars where you can sip a coffee or have a snack.
CANCELLATION Penalties
Time before departure and penalty:
- more 10 days: 10%;
- more 48 hours: 50%;
- less 48 hours: 100%.
Presale and booking fees are non-refundable.
MODIFICATION costs
Time before departure and cost:
2 hour: € 5 (during office hours)
To these modification costs must be added any fare differences and the modification fee equal to €2 per trip leg.
