How to reach the island of Ventotene

Fast boats and ferries departing from Formia moor all year round in Ventotene, while from June to September you can also leave by hydrofoil from Naples, Ischia and Ponza.

Formia – Ventotene Route

Ventotene is the second largest island of the Ponza archipelago, in the southern sector of the Gulf of Gaeta. It is part of the province of Latina, located on the southern maritime border of the Lazio region, and can only be reached by sea. Hydrofoils and ferries (Laziomar) reach the New Port of Ventotene – Cala Rossano – leaving all year from the port of Formia. The distance is forty-six kilometers and ferries take two hours to sail; fast drives, one hour and ten minutes. Click on the next link to get all the information about the route Formia – Ventotene.

Naples – Ischia – Ventotene Route

Ponza – Ventotene Route
