Located in the southwestern portion of the island of Stromboli, the port of Ginostra consists of a small pier where fast boats from the other islands of the Aeolian archipelago and Sicily moor (daily runs from Milazzo).
The Ginostra port is within walking distance. It is however possible to move from one place to another even with mules, until recently the only "means" of locomotion available to the very few residents and tourists who reach the island during the summer (for some time now we have been moving even with electric carts).

Near the port of Ginostra there are restaurants, B & Bs and a small bazaar.
Definitely wilder and less anthropized than Stromboli, Ginostra is a small ideal paradise for those who want to experience a direct and authentic contact with nature.
Even this side of the island can be explored by visitors, who will be guided in their path - full of glimpses and breathtaking views - by qualified personnel.
