With the Grimaldi Lines ferries on the Salerno - Palermo route it is possible to arrive in the capital of the Sicilian Region starting from the second most populated municipality in Campania. This 167 nautical mile route is only the first part of this sea leg which originates from the port of Salerno: Palermo is the intermediate port of call and Tunis the final one.
