Grandi Navi Veloci (GNV) was founded in 1992 and is part of the MSC Group.
GNV is one of the main Italian shipping companies operating in the passenger and freight transport sector in the Mediterranean Sea (international and national connections).
The GNV fleet is made up of 20 ferries, for the transport of passengers, vehicles and goods. Connecting various destinations such as: Albania, Morocco, Sicily, Spain and Tunisia.
On all GNV routes children travel free up to 4 years of age with the exception of Morocco and Tunisia (up to 2 years of age); reductions are available for children between 4 and 12 years old.
On some ferries there are children's areas reserved and equipped for the entertainment of the little ones: games, tables for drawing, TV with cartoons with everything you need for your child available: bottle warmer (to be requested at the bar), high chair, cots, changing table and bed rails.
Pets can travel on board GNV ships, indicating them in the ticket booking.
For dogs and cats there are dedicated accommodations, while for all other animals it's necessary to use the special pet carrier owned by the passenger.
When boarding, it is necessary to have with you: health card, food and relative bowl, muzzle, leash, shovel and hygienic bags.
The access of animals is allowed only on the external decks of the ship where there are areas dedicated to them and their respective owners. Entrance to the cabin is not allowed, with the exception of 4-legged friends cabins.
Two suitcases per person without weight limits containing only personal effects (clothing only) are allowed as hand baggage allowance.
Any other excess baggage containing personal effects can be stowed in a container by paying 9.00 € uro per piece on the lines to and from Tunisia.
Any other excess baggage (used household goods, used appliances, used furniture etc.) not transported in/on the vehicle at the time of boarding, can be stowed in a container made available by the company by paying 29.00 € per piece on the lines to and from. for Tunisia.
NB: It is not allowed to import appliances that do not comply with EEC directives from Tunisia and/or Morocco.

It is advisable to disable voice roaming and cellular data traffic for the entire duration of the trip, avoiding incurring charges for the gsm maritime network, whose rates are particularly high.
On the GNV fleet there are à la carte restaurants, self service restaurants, pizzerias. Special menus are provided for children; possibility of gluten free menus for people with intolerances. Halal dishes are also available on the Tunisia and Morocco lines.

There is no partial cancellation of the ticket, the cancellation refers to the entire ticket.
In the event of a ticket change (to be made before check-in opens), a fixed fee of € 30.00 plus any differences must be paid if the new fare is higher than the previous one.
The change for tickets at a special return ticket (A / R) involves the charge of fixed fees (30 € uro) on both tickets. Any change to the ticket, even if the new fare is lower, does not give the right to a refund.
