Active for more than 50 years in sea transport, Medmar is a private shipping company that guarantees annual and daily connections of people and goods between Naples, Pozzuoli and the islands of Ischia and Procida.
The Medmar fleet currently consists of 7 ferries and 2 vessels.
For the transport of pets, a regular travel ticket is required (approx. 5 euros each way); for dogs there is the obligation of a leash and muzzle ; cats must travel in the special carrier (provided by the owner). In any case, animals must be kept outside the halls.
Packages weighing not more than 10 kg and with dimensions not exceeding 60X40X30 cm are considered "hand baggage". For the embarkation of baggage of different types, the authorization of the on-board command is required.
For Medmar ships it is possible to board your own bicycle , upon purchase of the ticket (approx. 5 euros each way).

CANCELLATION Penalties
Time before departure and penalty:
- more than 48 hours: 30%;
- more than 24 hours; 50%;
- less than 24 hours: no refund.
Presale and booking fees are non-refundable.
MODIFICATION costs
Time before departure and cost:
- more than 8 hours: €15;
To these change costs must be added any fare differences and the change fee of €2 per leg.
