{"id":2114,"date":"2021-12-13T13:25:51","date_gmt":"2021-12-13T12:25:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/blog\/?p=2114"},"modified":"2021-12-20T11:19:03","modified_gmt":"2021-12-20T10:19:03","slug":"how-to-reach-the-tremiti-islands","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/blog\/en\/how-to-reach-the-tremiti-islands\/","title":{"rendered":"How to reach the Tremiti islands"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sea transport for the Tremiti Archipelago<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/en\/luoghi\/tremiti\">Tremiti islands<\/a>&nbsp;constitute an archipelago of the Adriatic Sea and at the same time a municipality in the province of Foggia.&nbsp;The municipal seat is located on the island of&nbsp;<strong>San Nicola<\/strong>, even if the largest and most inhabited is the island of&nbsp;<strong>San Domino<\/strong> situated&nbsp;just two hundred meters&nbsp;far.&nbsp;The second in size is that of Capraia, but it is uninhabited, like all the others &#8211; Pianosa, Cretaccio and La Vecchia &#8211; which are just big rocks.&nbsp;All together they belong to the homonymous Marine Nature Reserve and are also called&nbsp;<em>Diomed\u00e8e<\/em>.&nbsp;The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/en\/compagnie\/nlg\">NLG<\/a>&nbsp;sea transport&nbsp;from the mainland reaches the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/en\/porti\/san_domino\">port of San Domino<\/a>&nbsp;(the most connected) and the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/en\/porti\/san_nicola\">port of San Nicola<\/a>, from which you can go to all the other islands with a boat service.&nbsp;To reach the two main ports of the archipelago &#8211; in about an hour and a quarter &#8211; you can leave all year round&nbsp;<strong>by<\/strong>&nbsp;ferry&nbsp;<strong>from Termoli<\/strong>&nbsp;(Molise), almost 40 kilometers away, from where in July, August and September there is also the hydrofoil with arrival in S. Domino in fifty minutes.&nbsp;In the period from July to mid-September it is possible to leave by hydrofoil&nbsp;<strong>from Vieste<\/strong>&nbsp;(Puglia), fifty kilometers away,to S.
