Ponza<\/a> is the largest island of the Pontine archipelago, it is part of the province of Latina, in Lazio, and can only be reached by sea. The port of Ponza<\/a> is seventy kilometers from the port of Formia<\/a>. Among these, Laziomar<\/a><\/strong> sea transport works all year round<\/strong>, both with hydrofoils (in one hour and twenty) and ferries (in two and a half hours), unlike other mainland ports who limit their runs to the summer seasons. From the port of Terracina<\/a> NLG<\/a> hydrofoils and Laziomar ships land only in the months of June, July, August and September from Via del Molo; the fast means takes fifty-five minutes to reach the destination, while the ferry two hours and a half. From Anzio, the Laziomar line is not currently active and no other ship owners works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On high season weekends Ponza can also be reached from the port of Naples<\/a> (Molo Beverello), from the island of Ischia (port of Casamicciola<\/a>) and from Ventotene with a SNAV hydrofoil that departs for the Pontine archipelago and arrives at the port of Ventotene<\/a> after about two hours of navigation. From here you arrive at your destination in fifty minutes.
