The GNV Sirio<\/strong> and GNV Auriga<\/strong> ferries are put into service from Genoa to Sicily and Sardinia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The acquisition operation by Grandi Navi Veloci of the ro-pax units which were previously part of the Moby fleet under the names Sharden and Moby Vinci has therefore been confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Features of the GNV Sirio and Auriga ferries<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The two sister ships <\/strong>GNV Sirio and Auriga, built in 2003 at the Fincantieri shipyards in Castellamare di Stabia and equipped with on-board services of a high quality standard, with 39,798 gross tonnage and 214 meters of length, can transport up to 2,900 passengers<\/strong> each; there are 319 cabins<\/strong>, a relaxation area<\/strong>, two bars<\/strong>, a restaurant<\/strong> room, a space dedicated to entertainment for the children<\/strong>, a shop<\/strong>, lifts<\/strong> on each ship deck and also an area dedicated to four-legged friends<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company thus increases its commercial cargo capacity by over 4,000 linear meters <\/strong>(2,281 ml GNV Sirio and 1,934 ml GNV Auriga), with a total fleet of 28 ships serving 31 lines in 7 different countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The lines<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Sirio, starting from 20 March 2024, will operate for Sicily<\/strong> on the Genoa \u2013 Palermo<\/a> line, while Auriga, from 28 March 2024, will operate for Sardinia<\/strong> on the Genoa \u2013 Porto Torres<\/a> line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
