The village fairs in Corsica (festivals<\/strong> linked to agricultural harvests<\/strong> and typical local artisanal products<\/strong>) are supported and promoted by a Federation (FFRAAC) which intends to relaunch the professions of agricultural products and artisans on the French island, and is structured as a association that brings together eighteen organizations of fairs and markets that take place annually from April to December<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In organized events<\/strong>, all stands<\/strong>, which must meet certain requirements for the renewal of federal certification, are checked at each edition. In order to be able to boast the brand and participate, agricultural producers and artisans must operate on the island throughout the year, present products resulting from specific know-how and not display any items for resale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Federation of rural agricultural and craft fairs of Corsica<\/strong>, whose motto is “Autonomy and Solidarity”, has among its objectives the promotion of local activities, products and services, agricultural professions and island craftsmanship, strengthening island sectors through popular events, supporting the rural fair concept and strengthening fairs and markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The events<\/strong> certified by the FFRAAC are the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
