{"id":12370,"date":"2024-02-20T17:25:18","date_gmt":"2024-02-20T16:25:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/blog\/?p=12370"},"modified":"2024-02-20T17:32:10","modified_gmt":"2024-02-20T16:32:10","slug":"the-ardara-wine-cellar-festival-sardinia-chentinas-de-su-regnu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/blog\/en\/the-ardara-wine-cellar-festival-sardinia-chentinas-de-su-regnu\/","title":{"rendered":"The Ardara wine cellar festival (Sardinia): Chentinas de Su Regnu"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><br>The <strong>food and wine and cultural event<\/strong> in Ardana, a village <strong>in the province of Sassari <\/strong>with an important history, is characterized by rivers of wine, tastings of typical products, live folk music, crafts and historical-cultural itineraries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With <em><strong>Chentinas de Su Regnu<\/strong><\/em>, in <strong>March of each year<\/strong>, the doors of the cellars and the artistic heritage are thrown open, relaunching the local artistic and cultural beauties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each winery offers <strong>wine and typical dishes<\/strong> (from chickpea soup to wild boar, from sausage to lamb and sheep, from cheeses to pancakes). To participate, the <strong>tasting kit <\/strong>(glass, bib, map and menu) must be purchased on site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ardara, whose economy is predominantly agro-pastoral, was an important location <strong>in the Middle Ages<\/strong>, as it was the capital of the Giudicato of Torres or <strong>Logudoro<\/strong>, one of the four kingdoms into which Sardinia was divided, and <strong>home of the Giudici of Torres<\/strong>, who had built by Pisan workers the <strong>Palazzo Giudicale<\/strong> and the palatine chapel of Santa Maria del Regno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the program of the event, in addition to zero kilometer food and wine, we find musical performances, craft and artistic exhibitions, opening of historical sites, starting with the possibility of visiting the <strong>Giudicale Museum<\/strong> and what is currently the parish church of Santa Maria del Regno, also known as the <strong>Basilica of Our Lady of the Kingdom<\/strong>, in Romanesque style, inside which we find the sixteenth-century altarpiece &#8220;<strong>Major Retable<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Promo Chentinas De Su Regnu 2018 - ARDARA\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jtQGk7hrcMM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The event is organized by the Municipality with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/people\/Associazione-Turistica-ProLoco-Ardara\/100070517906094\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/people\/Associazione-Turistica-ProLoco-Ardara\/100070517906094\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ProLoco Ardara Tourist Association<\/a> and the contribution of the Region and the Province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chentinas de su Regnu 2024<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Locandina_Chentinas_de_Su_Regnu_2024-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"829\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Locandina_Chentinas_de_Su_Regnu_2024-1-829x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12371\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Locandina_Chentinas_de_Su_Regnu_2024-1-829x1024.jpg 829w, https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Locandina_Chentinas_de_Su_Regnu_2024-1-243x300.jpg 243w, https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Locandina_Chentinas_de_Su_Regnu_2024-1-768x949.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Locandina_Chentinas_de_Su_Regnu_2024-1.jpg 1131w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 829px) 100vw, 829px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Chentinas de su Regnu<\/em> (the cellars of the kingdom in northern Logudorese dialect) will take place in the municipality of Ardara on<strong> Saturday 9 March 2024<\/strong>, starting from Piazza Municipio <strong>from 6.30 pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rivers of wine<\/strong> will flood the country, are you ready with the glass?
