The cost of the tour is \u20ac99 per person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br>Diocletian&#8217;s Palace<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Diocletian&#8217;s Palace, with its walls, represents the <strong>historic center of Split<\/strong> and it is an imposing fortified villa overlooking the port. The emperor had it built ten years after his election and retired to private life. The plan of the <strong>fortified complex<\/strong> is structured, on the model of the Roman military camps, on two perpendicular streets. The walls are dotted with towers and also have four towers at the corners and as many gates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br>What to see in the Palace<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the southern half of the architectural work we find the <strong>emperor&#8217;s apartment<\/strong> and the buildings dedicated to official and religious ceremonies, while in the northern part there are the <strong>buildings where soldiers and servants stayed<\/strong>. Among the most important things to see inside the walls we find the following structures:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the Cathedral of San Doimo;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Golden Gate;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Silver Gate;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Iron Gate;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Aenea Gate;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Vestibule;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Temple of Jupiter;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Peristyle;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Underground.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br>Gastronomic itinerary<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can feast in <strong>6 refreshment points <\/strong>(both refined restaurants and taverns), always accompanied by a tour guide, and in groups of a few people.
