In any case, those listed and described below can all be reached from the ground: in fact, they are located near the <strong><em>strada statale 163 Amalfitana<\/em><\/strong> road, which borders the coast line although it has various curves. The rocky coves and the few sandy shores that can only be approached from the sea with private boats, not reached by taxi-boats, have not been taken into consideration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It should be kept in mind that almost the entire area between Positano and Ravello (and also coastal stretches further on), given the exposure to the sun and the presence of the slopes behind it, is not shaded very late in the afternoon, and that in general all beaches are both highly coveted and not terribly large. The quality of the water is usually of the highest level except near the port of Salerno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To get to the UNESCO World Heritage Riviera you can travel by hydrofoil departing from Naples, the islands of the gulf, the Sorrento coast or Salerno; there are also many internal routes that connect some seaside villages in the area. The sand is of medium grain, mixed with pebbles. There is an equipped establishment and a bar-restaurant, as well as a small free section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br>Furore<\/h3>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"540\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Fiordo_di_Furore.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10435\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Fiordo_di_Furore.jpg 540w, https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Fiordo_di_Furore-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><strong><em>Fjord of Furore<\/em><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Fjord of Furore<\/strong> is so called because the small free beach (25 meters) of sand and pebbles is washed by a narrow arm of the sea that has crept into the coast up to the valley where the Schiato torrent flows. Restaurants and bathing facilities are available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br>Amalfi<\/h3>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Spiaggia_della_Vite_Amalfi-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10470\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Spiaggia_della_Vite_Amalfi-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Spiaggia_della_Vite_Amalfi-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Spiaggia_della_Vite_Amalfi.jpg 960w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><strong><em>Beach of the Vite<\/em><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>In Amalfi, proceeding along the west-east axis, the first we find is the pebble <strong>beach of the Vite<\/strong>, right on the border with the municipality of Conca dei Marini, from where the mixed route by land and sea begins (which you have to cross): from the cove of Marina di Conca the boats of the Vite bathing establishments will transport you to your destination, upon reservation. Made of sand and pebbles, it can also be reached via the taxi-boat service operating in the Amalfi port. There are both two bathing establishments with restaurants and small free stretches. The beach is pebbly and is managed. There is a bar restaurant and the possibility of renting bathing equipment or hanging out your own towel, paying less.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"720\" height=\"540\" src=\"https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Spiaggia_Grande_Amalfi.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10440\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Spiaggia_Grande_Amalfi.jpg 720w, https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Spiaggia_Grande_Amalfi-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><strong><em>Marina Grande<\/em><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The beach of <strong>Marina Grande<\/strong> is the most famous and popular, near the port and the center, made of sand and pebbles, with many services, not only catering, available. It is of fine sand, and pebbly towards the shoreline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Suverano beach<\/strong> (also called &#8220;<em>Lo Sgarrupo<\/em>&#8221; because the path to reach it is not easy, more like a cliff than a pathway) is made of white pebbles, completely free, wild and without services. Immediately after the port, on the other hand, there is another larger one (90 meters), the <strong>Marina beach<\/strong>, in parts sandy and in parts pebbly, surrounded by the houses of the village, both free and equipped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Lannio beach<\/strong> is about 100 meters long, of sand and pebbles, in concession to an establishment with a kiosk bar and restaurant but with a free stretch, accessible via a flight of steps located near the Vicereale Tower (the so-called <em>Torretta<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The small sandy <strong>beach of Tuoro Vecchio<\/strong> is located a few tens of meters from the previous one; the bathing establishment is managed by the Hotel Cetus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br>Vietri sul Mare<\/h3>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Spiaggia_della_Marina_di_Albori_Vietri_sul_Mare.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10449\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Spiaggia_della_Marina_di_Albori_Vietri_sul_Mare.jpg 960w, https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Spiaggia_della_Marina_di_Albori_Vietri_sul_Mare-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.traghettiup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Spiaggia_della_Marina_di_Albori_Vietri_sul_Mare-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><strong><em>Marina di Albori<\/em><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>In Vietri sul Mare we find the <strong>beach of Marina di Albori<\/strong>, in the homonymous Vietri district. Made of sand, it is very wide, with an equipped establishment and a free stretch, divided in two by the Bonea river.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Crestarella beach<\/strong> is dominated by the homonymous sixteenth-century tower erected on the adjacent promontory called Cannocchiale. Furthermore, the rocks &#8220;I Due Fratelli&#8221; can be seen not far away.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
